I mean, that really got out of hand fast!
Champ Kind: It jumped up a notch!
Ron Burgundy: It did, didn't it?
Brick Tamland: Yeah, I stabbed a man in the heart!
Ron Burgundy: I saw that! Brick killed a guy! Did you throw a trident?
Brick Tamland: Yeah, there were horses, and a man on fire, and I killed a guy with a trident!
Ron Burgundy: Brick, I've been meaning to talk to you about that. You should find yourself a safehouse or a relative close by.
One of my "friends" from last year is really getting under my skin talking about the plans that I had for spring break that just fell through, I was planning to go to Cancun with friends that I know through the Douglass Activities Board, and he kept talking about how bad and innapropriate it was. You know what I think of that? How do you help serve the church? Do you go out and attract new members? Because I certainly do. If I don't "meet people where they are" am I just supposed to wait for them to come to me. If I have simliar life experiences to most students, wouldn't that make it easier to relate to? They say, "you might be the only bible that people ever read" and how would they be able to get that experience if I just stay doing habitat for the 4th straight year? That group of people is already doing Gods Will, and I have done that the past three years.

Also I think for me this is just going back to Highschool and trying to get me to live more like everyone else, I didn't have a post Prom trip to wildwood or anything for that matter, and I haven't had a "college" spring break yet either.

Another thing I want to mention is I'm probably ticked off at this person and some others that are poking fun at me and act like I am not intelligent. For instance, I was watching The West Wing w/ maureen and hoppe at the center and they (not maureen and hoppe, anyother person would come in) would say, "Joe, I didn't know you liked stuff like this, isnt that too intellectual for you?" I think thats as close as I can remember the quote and just other random comments from certain people have gotten under my skin. AHHH.

School, thats a fun topic, working hard to make sure I pass my class, thats pretty much what drives me, graduating. I wish I was more organized so I could fix my Resume and start applying for jobs. I want to soooo bad. Thats my new fear, not finding a job. From now till graduation I will be focused on that.

Guitar, how I wish I could spend every waking hour learning more and practicing. I wish I started playing when I was 5, that would be sooooo nice.

Videogames, I wish I didn't play you so much but it definitely helps keep me calm and my sanity. I can't wait to write my 15-20 page paper on you for Intro to Systems Thinking. Sure it sounds easy but it will be one of the largest tests of endurance (i am not good at writing long papers) that I have ever had, thank goodness the professor made me choose this topic since it was most interesting to me.

Thank you to all those people that do support me. You don't know how much you have helped and been a great influence on my life.

    <lj:music>The Killers - Somebody Told Me</lj:music>

So whats going on? I got Futurama season 2 dvd, i dunno if anyone cares but it rocks. Oh Ad-aware SE came out, I just downloaded it, it seems to be better. I hope to get the HDD problems fixed soon. I got a jumpdrive (256mb) and a memory card for my digital camera(256mb), totally not related. I read Disclosure by Michael Crichton yesterday and today I'm starting on Tom Clancy's Op-Center: Call to Treason. And yes I know that Clancy doesn't write these but they are still good. Later this week I'll probably start Tom Clancy's The Teeth of the Tiger, which looks good. I've been playing me some starcraft, realized I'm not the greatest but who cares. Also Age of Empires (2??): Conquerers expansion. I hope to get a lot of CSA stuff done this week or else I'm dead. I need motivation, why can't I get motivated.

so it definitely went much better than I thought. It was pretty cool even though I didn't buy a sword or a wooden replica of something (they both looked super cool). After we left we ate dinner at a nice Italian restaurant w/ friendly staff in Ogdensburg. and then it was on to Bob's Apt in Parsippany where we watched Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: The secret of the ooze. Oh it was fabulous. Excellent film. Drove back to will's i got my car and drove home. Oh just saw on http://www.tvshowsondvd.com that Futurama season 4 is coming out later this month, I think I might have to catch up on getting the first 3 seasons though.

    <lj:music>Better Than Ezra - Good</lj:music>

went to work, back here, catholic center, drove fellow worker to a work meeting, then I drove to the short hills bank and summit for allergy shots, then springfield for dinner and after dinner went to my uncles in west orange, then back to springfield en route to New Brunswick. where I played starcraft and then almost wrote a song based on Sirach 2. I dunno about the song though, because I have a good couple of riffs but i've been playing them with my joke of the helpdesk song. Also found a virus on my computer, and updated some stuff not sure if its part of SP2 or not.

with a long headache. Work has become a huge headache. I hadda waste 20 bucks on gas and hadda drive up to boonton for the 2nd night in a row (tiring) but I love the poeple. It makes it worth it. We ended with the wonder song, it was great, but my headache prevented me from getting too into it. Hopefully I can come up with a pretty decent looking website for both wonder's that way we have some kind of legacy left for people to see. Pray for that! and so as Sirach says, "To fear the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom." <lj:music>Lostprophets - Last Train Home</lj:music>

So, today was a huge day, present in front of 100 new hires for training. Guess who rocked the crowd???? I think that was the person before me, but I did pretty good. Got a bunch of laughs and I think they may have learned something. The only problem is I wasn't sure who was a hire vs. waitlister vs. resnet hire vs. resnet waitlister vs. ccf hire or ccf waitlister. I hope that some of the cooler people out there were the HD hires. If they are it should be a lotta fun.

And then it set in. My final exam for World cultural regions. I sat down in my seat for that class and suddenly I felt stuffed like I ate a lot (I hadn't eaten all day). I felt so sick that I really didn't get to work on the bulk of the exam until many of the students already finished their exams. It was really bad. I also started coughing so it was like a crazy panic attack. But I was able to finish so instead of going to hang out at training, I went home and rested on my bed.

Then the doorbell rang and my Digital Camera was there! I was thrilled. Played with that for a bit, then Installed Age of Empires - Age of Conquerers Expansion pack and played that for a bit, needless to say I had fun. Then I did my laundry, took out the trash and watched my dvd of Whats the Worst that Could Happen?? Good movie, thats probably why I bought it.

Was talking to Laura and Jamie online for a while and then cooked up some hamburgers at 12:30. It was the only real food I ate all day, previous to that I had 1 lemonade drink, 2 cookies and 1 poptart.

Not in tip top shape belly still feeling uneasy (hamburgers help that I think...lol) and my throat is feelin better.

Oh and Laura told me that Kevin, Kate and her, were all at a concert with Danielle who is my other LJ friend that I met at RU. How small of a world is that!
